We encountered issues with battery mount. Found out that OEM battery mount can not withstand G-forces. So anyone tracking your G, make sure to check your battery mount, jerk a little to see if anything is loose.
While on the track mount failed, snapping the cable off. We were lucky the racing shop @ Buttonwillow was open, so we could get the parts needed.

However no more gamble, now we mounted braille battery mount kit.

Buttonwillow Raceway April 2-3, 2011. Best LAP 2:06.123 (time set by J Lee)

MOD for the weekend

1. Enkei PF01 - F1 Racing-Grade wheels.
Front: 18x9 +35
Rear: 18x10.5 +38

NOW on sales by JEB Performance for those who want light weight enkei set for track use only. Price below include shipping and Nitto NT-01 Racing compound Tires.
enkei 18x9 +35 / 5x114.3 including Hub Ring, + Nitto NT-01 Tire 245/40/18 $560
enkei 18x9.5 +35 / 5x114.3 including Hub Ring,
+ Nitto NT-01 Tire 245/40/18 $580
enkei 18x10.5 +38 / 5x114.3 including Hub Ring,
+ Nitto NT-01 Tire 275/35/18 $620

Above set will last 8 track events. So in the long run will save you money as well. Since while I went to track with Bridgestone RE050 which are $1200 for full set. Only gave me three track day events + street use.

For returning customers only we will supply NT-01 for $800+ Shipping for full set. Or 220+ Shipping front $240+ Shipping rear.

Now I run my 19" OEM wheels with cheap UTQG 400, which last at least 50K Miles.
So further savings and not worry about tires never ever.

Don't shed too much you might need aero later on, to give down force. Like my friend David's G35 stripped interior with racing seats, roll cage, and Super Charger.

Yes I know David. We were introduced by MOTUL. I have never been to Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. However it is among the track I really want to go this year. If not now, maybe later.

There is only one David I know who will put MOTUL sticker, especially on the back. So everyone trailing are exposed to his advertising.

On his S2K there is Motul sticker which covers the door and the window. MOTUL sponsor his car with 10% discount, so he has to keep the stickers. But he ends up buying from me for less. From all MOTUL customer, David is number one fan of MOTUL.

SO, why are you on an infiniti forum?
Everytime I see a nice 335, its either driving to service dept., or driving home from service dept.

Those track pix of the g37 are amazing. Love the 3 wheelin pix on the corners

You're going to the wrong dealer.

It's not free, those costs are rolled into the price of the vehicle itself. Brake pads/rotors not included, the same can be had by paying for the Infiniti Elite Premium Maintenance plan. This will still put you under the cost of a comparably equipped BMW.
