Which rotor is right one for me?
To put in simple terms, it all depends on your local weather. Extremely hot geographic area with little rain use drilled rotors. Extremely cold and wet to snow geographic areas recommended use of slotted rotors. Not so cold and have little bit of both from hot and wet use drilled and slotted rotors are recommended.

Drilled rotors if run on extremely cold weather like north pole after 20'000 miles of use may see cracks on the edges of the drilled holes.All drilled rotors from Stoptech are diamond cut. After the rotors wear out may cause cracking.

Slotted rotors helps wipe water away from the rotor, however does little for dissipating heat.

Slotted or Drilled Rotors will cost less than your OEM brake rotors at the Dealer. Less vibration under braking. Very quiet and smooth braking.

Centric premium rotors utilize an Electrocoating finish that provides long lasting corrosion protection. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. JEB - Instead of just deleting the thread where I first posted this, perhaps as a vendor that cares about getting members quality products that meet their needs, you can help here and not avoid the topic. My friends StopTech rotors look like this after just a little bit of use. Can you enlighten us on why StopTech rotors have such a wide rust ring?

Sorry you feel the need to do this as I still see the Stop Techs as the best performing rotor on the market for the G37. Just curious to your thoughts on why the Stop Techs were designed this way. Did Stop Tech say anything to you when you asked them about the rust ring?

Because as with our OEM rotors which are same dimension and size. Your pads are not touching the inner part of the rotors. Rotors are made of steel. It is not a million year old mystery. All steel rust.

Dear Blackjack

All I asked cordially on our Private Messages was to inform our members that all rotors do rust. I offer StopTech for various reasons. They are great product and comes at great price. Even lower than OEM rotors from our Infiniti Dealers. Unless they are made from less corrosive material, unfortunately all our rotors will rust. I will pray to God every day for his miracle. But I don't expect any soon. Please let me know if you are able to come up with steel that don't rust.

Reason for deleting posts was to resolve and discuss matters in private. But now as a human being I feel cornered and am giving my side of the story. Thanks JEB for your honesty and integrity. Stop Tech rotors are still awesome and the offer to throw in the cleaning product to reduce potential for rusting was spot on! It would be interesting to initiate a poll to see what rotors the members prefer. List a half dozen quality brands (including Stop Tech) and see what the poll numbers show. Then make carry that brand at the best pricing you can offer.

I personally think rotors since they are replacement parts. StopTech gives you best value, quality, and reliability. To spend at least double what StopTech offers to all of us. In my opinion is money not well spent.
