Laguna Seca...Anyone go?
Laguna Seca...Anyone go?
Well I did!!!!
Right before setting off on the journey to Monterey.

Stop on the Pacific Coast Highway for a short picture.

Monterey Bay Aquarium...gotta make it educational too :-)

Now onto the American LeMans Series at the world famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca!!!
Flying Lizard in the #45 FL Porsche GT3 RSR took overall first place in the GT2 class with Patrick Long at the wheel.

At the grid!

This is the pictures you can take when someone doesn't put the locks on the gates where spectators are not allowed to be...

The corkscrew!!!

Ferrari that qualified 1st did not even finish in the top 5.

Flying Lizard #45 qualified 8th and passed the #90 M3 GTR in the last 20 minutes of the race after a caution flag to take first place. #4 Compuware Corvette C6R came in 3rd. The Corvette was by far the best sounding car at the race. Nothing else compared to it. It also used the ZR1 front splitter and all ZR1 body parts except for the under body and the rear defuser and giant rear wing. I can't even put into words how amazing the Corvettes are. Made me not look at any Ferrari or Porsche for the rest of the race.

My brother also got a picture with Patrick Long before the race, which is kinda bad ***. He's a very nice and soft spoken dude and very friendly and humble.

Ok.. I went to Road Atlanta for the first time last year (apart from racing on it in video games). I think I prefer the Ferrari sound though
