ran my xs sedan today

my buddies had a track rental for their cobras today and of course i got bored and curious so i ran my g. OLDBRIDGE E-TOWN RACEWAY PARK track was prepped pretty crappy temp was at about 78 degrees not sure on track temp...
car is bone stock 7sp auto
did a few pulls 60 fts ranging from 2.0-2.22
13.9,13.7, 13.6,13.6..... i was pretty excited to see the car pull this time so i took all the junk out of my car plus trunk carpets and spare tire w accessories and pulled a 13.4 @103 every run but the 13.9 run i paddle shifted with traction off.

never thought id see that time out of the car--- can we say factory freakkkkkkkkk!. last time i ran this car i believe i only can like a 14.2 so it was a pretty exciting day for me. gogo brake launch!

Wow impressive times, makes me definitely want to run my X at the strip now! Can you post up your slips? I'd like to check out your 1/8 mile figures, etc. Did you run all your runs in DS mode with the VDC off?

I haven't brake launched the car yet - how high will it let you rev at the launch? Did you do a regular launch vs. brake launch and compare the time difference?

Nice! You had some good weather today in the Garden State. Seems like the breeze kept the the temps down. Great day for Raceway Park. Wish I was there today. Did they have any autocross going? I want to give that a try this year.

Wow, a 13.4 probably would have handled the 2008 Mustang GT Bullitt I traded in on our 2009 G37X!

Nice runs! At what RPM are you shifting? I'm finding that I have to pull the paddle just after 6K to keep it from hitting the rev limiter. I'd be 100% happy with this car if it shifted when I told it to! I wish there was a way to make it shift like the ISF does.

those are indeed some good freaking numbers! i'm new to the nissan/infiniti seen, but is the 6MT not quicker than the 7AT? no crazy torque converter to hold it down? i believe caranddriver tested the 6MT G37S @ 13.8 at 103?
