Another day on the track

Yesterday was intense on the G, took her for a track day in the morning, an Autocross in the afternoon and a canyon run at night. I am very impressed with G! Not with it's mileage though, managed to drain a full tank and a half yesterday haha

It was an amazing experience, way too much adrenaline pumping! I had to keep VDC on though during the Track day, my ***** literally vanished after watching that G37 crash @ Yas Circiut. What even made it worse was that a G35 Coupe also managed to spin out on the track and rear end straight on to a wall! So I really wanted to drive my car out of there rather than have her on a Recovery vehicle. What I liked about VDC though is that it does allow for some tailsliding to an extent and won't cut off your ignition unless you've completely lost it and about to spin out, it's pretty smart! For the Autocross though, it was off the whole time as you will see in the video's haha! Best part was, I managed to get the best times in the RWD category in the AutoX.. up until a modded V6 Clio running on slicks kicked my *** lol I honestly recommend EACH AND EVERYONE to at least try this sometime, you are missing out on a lot if you haven't. It also helps with keeping it safe on the roads as it makes street racing and all the bullcrap look so lame and boring!

Anyways, enough with the blabber and off to some pix and vids!

1) Open track

2) AutoX

A pic of my ghetto *** camera mount lol Held up very well

And finally, a video of my run

That looks fun! I'd like to try it. I always thought track = auto x .

Nice! Sounds like a fun day. And yes that is the most ghetto camera mount I have ever seen but apparently worked.

Never had the opportunity to road course a car yet, but I've done autox several times with my previous cars and it's definitely a blast! Looks like your autox course design was a good blend of both low and high speed sections. Once the weather warms around MD, I'd like to attempt some autox with the AWD of the X. Nice cam mount btw!
