100% stock

 

no brake fade or limp mode? The first time I took my car to mid-ohio it was stock. It was a cool day and I didn't see limp mode, but the stock pads were horrible by about 12 minutes into the session.

 

Definitely I am getting Hawk pads next time I go to racing track.

No limp mode, but my friend who set up the car, Injen Cold air intake and HKS exhaust. Constantly had limp mode. So he fitted his car with home made Oil Cooler. For more details on how we fitted Oil Cooler is documented at following page on this myg37.com

I used to use Hawk Blues. Don't. They're extremely corrosive.

Go with Project Mu, Endless, Carbotech, Porterfield, etc.

Best time 2 min 18 seconds. But I was averaging 2 min 20 seconds.

 

Were you running in Red? I can't believe he passed you on the outside on Riverside... unless you were going excessively slow. Then he spins on sunset....

What was your average/apex speed through Riverside on a clean lap? That turn is scary without aero....

My brake pads of choice (right now) are Carbotechs, since the dust is really easy to clean off =]

I can't go, good luck. I called Buttonwillow Raceway today. Asked about open testing day. I was told $210 all day for this Saturday. Half day from 1-5pm cost $110. However it is not session. You go in whenever you want. And come out only if you run out of GAS. Great deal. Than I called Willowsprings raceway. To see if they offer similar deal. But it was only for race read cars. It made me wonder, is Buttonwillow only open for race ready cars too, Hmmm. Maybe I will call Buttonwillow again tomorrow.
