G37x Coupe Autocross

Well, there's one more SCCA autocross event up here for this yr on October 4.

It's up in Houghton, MI at one of the Michigan Tech University parking lots. Ironically, it may well be the same parking lot where FX35 "made its bones" with the autocrossing regulars up here. The eyes that were rolling when I signed up to run no longer rolled after my first run-
It's about 90 miles West and North of here. I'll have to be on the road by 6:15AM or so.

I look forward to seeing how well I can do with the G37x Coupe.
I didn't autocross last yr at all because of the length of the drive to get to where they were being held.
I didn't do any this yr, either--------------yet

I just got er broke in last Thursday night.
This thing just flies!
I'm still not pounding it quite as hard as I will be, but I am "training" it to my "touch."

The salesman I bought this car from told me he took my FX for a ride and not only couldn't believe the sound---he wanted to know how I had changed the shift points.

Practice, I told him---lots of practice-

I took a ride up to Michigan Tech (in the UP of MI) for the last SCCA event for the year up here. I bought this car a month ago, and wanted to see how she'd do. I was disappointed with my time, but it was still fun. There were a couple really quick EVO's there, Corvette, Z28, a few WRX's, two Mustang Cobra SVT's, a couple of M3's and a RX-7 Turbo to name a few. 38 drivers total.

Thanks, Kenny-
I'll be at it again next yr, and am going to get to the track at least a few times-

Also:
It did tend to understeer a bit as you had said on the FX forum.
I did the first 3 runs in DS and the last 3 in MM.
This video is one of the MM runs.

Three more runs my brother's stepson recorded-

The first one is when the understeer became apparent to me-

YouTube - Infinity runs the course.

(I'll have to mention the spelling of Infiniti to him-)
