How fast can you take a corner on a track?
I'm a complete noob and was just wondering if the posted speed on a track turn says 35mph or 60mph how fast can you REALLY take it? Or what is the best way to determine or feel that you are about to fly off? (i get the feeling that the car become light and the back end is kinda beginning to "float" and get away.) Track racing gurus need your insight!
Double the indicated limit as a starting point. better suspension can increase this number but road conditions will dictate how far you can actually push it.

Don't forget tires. I'm not sure how our stock tires compare in the grand scheme of all tires - I think they are pretty good - but then again I see my SLIP light come on quite a bit...

If you feel the rear end losing traction (oversteer), that's as fast as you can take it safely with your current suspension setup. There are too many variables to say a certain number - banking, road condition, tires, arc of the curve, entry speed, etc. Once you determine the max safe speed for a given curve, you can use it as a reference for the effectiveness of any suspension modifications you do. If you add lowering springs the speed should increase. If you add sways, the speed should increase. You can see the effect of each mod you make.

As long as road conditions are good, the G can generally take turns at 2x the posted recommendation easily. 3x is possible with experience, but definately not recommended.
