completely impossible. low 12's is vette territory. You'll need a trap of 110mph+ to get there. Did he say what the trap speed was? I went to the track last month with near perfect conditions (320ft, 34degrees) and I trapped a best of 105mph completely stock, which tells me these cars are good for low 13s. If it did run 12.2, my guess is he was spraying and on slicks.

a 1/10 of a second is a large gap when it comes to 1/4 mile. especially once you start seeing lower times.

ps i ran a 12.2 barefoot.

The kid i ran against ran a 12.28 "according to the slip" but theres no way cause i ran a 14.5 and he was only a car or two ahead of me.

He only has exhaust hfc and "tune" from some local shop. He was on bald stock tires. 6MT.

It was def an error.
