Very nice times. Seems like G37 1/4 mile times are much better than the G35's. Times look like the 350z VQHR off my350z.com.
Nissan 370z will hit 12's for sure...

Can you please enlighten us on what technique were used.

What kind of launch and at what RPM? Did you power-shift 1st and 2nd?

Thanks

Launch the car @ 4.5k rpm and let the clutch slip. Speed-shift 1st-4th, didn't press clutch all way just stabbing it. The weather played a big factor 50' is almost perfect IMO.
370Z will be a beast, I'm jealous already.

If you check out my other vids on youtube, My friend ran exact time with his 350Z Nismo. With the same mods as me, it was a dead even race.

He must have got there late. We pretty much open the place and left around noon.

What do you have on your G? 6MT or 5AT?

you are launching. i would guess slipping the clutch is not fully releasing the clutch while you are on the accelerator at the same time.

Yeah, weather definitely plays a major factor. 50' is almost ideal.

Good to know the g37 can handle a 350z nismo VQHR. The 370z will be a different story, lol.

Did you run 1/4 tank, 93 octane? Shift before or on redline? Deflated tires?

Heh, sorry about all the questions there isn't much info on the g37 drag racing here.

Nice vid's btw...

crazy that he hung with the nismo. they both have a similar engine but the z weighs like 300-400 pounds lighter.

I slowly release the clutch while keeping revs between 4.5-5k rpm. As soon as the car catches grip let go of the clutch and floor it. Speed shift to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Lean back and look up to peak at the scoreboard. lol
