WOW! Nice runs. These times are believable and here's why:
1) You've got HFCs which are known to add around 10whp.
2) The calculated density altitude on 11/23/08 at 1200 at your strip was a whopping NEGATIVE 1700' (ie below sea level). Yeah, those are flat out amazing conditions. Your car was making ~109% of it's normal power and air density was at 105%. Instead of making around 285whp with your mods, your car was making ~315whp or an extra ~30whp.
Conditions for 11/23/08 at 1200:
Elevation 200'
Temp 40 degrees
Dew point 7 degrees
Baro 30.50 (wow!)
Historical conditions for Mechanicsville, MD: http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/...chType=WEATHER
To calculate DA: http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_hp_dp.htm
Correcting your ET/MPH back to sea level conditions, which are still amazing conditions BTW, would result in a 13.59@103.4. Say you were running in more typical DA conditions like 1000' and your times would be a VERY typical 13.75@102.4mph. As you can see, the conditions had a huge effect on the way the car performed. It had very little do with your driving skill.

It's science fellas and it's the truth. Usually when cars post times that are outside the norm, DA is the main factor. It's Mother Nature's supercharger.

He's a decent driver to obtain a 2.07 60', but after the first 100', there's no real skill going on assuming you've got a quick arm. Powershifting IS NOT the reason he went quick and powershifting will result in a minimal ET drop (maybe .1 if you're really good) and it's seriously not worth the risk with those fragile Aisin-Warner 6MTs. Keep doing it and the 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 syncros will be toast as well as the fork. His ET/MPH was mostly a factor of the conditions. I'm just trying to offer some explanation here so people understand why his car ran the way it did. People are going to read this and assume all G37s run these times which is far from the truth.

Translation: "Good job, you weren't really a good driver, the enviornment was just too stupendous that is rocketed the car .5 seconds faster than "normal" conditions. The G37 is still teh slow. G35 4 life yo."

Similar run that I did sometime in back aug. without HFC just the drop-ins was 13.81 @ 104.1mph on 80' weather.
Are you trying to say that the car is not capable of doin 13's?

So what did your car ran on a perfect weather? I don't remember saying I powershifted. As I mentioned on my previous post weather played a big factor. Comparing my previous run on 10/12/08 on same place with 70' weather I ran a 13.58 @ 104.58mph. w/ 2.10 60' car was not touched from that day.
Similar run that I did sometime in back aug. without HFC just the drop-ins was 13.81 @ 104.1mph on 80' weather.

I've NEVER said the G37 isn't capable of 13s. It's quite obvious it is a 13 second car, even in relatively normal conditions. Like I said in my first post, your run are entirely believable and the track (Maryland is a quick strip) and conditions played a huge roll. You live in a good area for racing. The conditions, the elevation, and the tracks are all great. Take advantage of it.
