z1 level 1 tune - is it worth trying on a stock IPL

have a stock 2013 ipl 6mt and am not planning any mods. but am wondering what a level 1 tune from z1 would do with 91 octane. the ipl already has some extra tune compared to a non-ipl so am guessing the difference isn't worth the trouble.

Without intake & exhaust mods, an aftermarket tune will probably be negligible, particularly on an IPL... which already has a better exhaust and tweak to the factory tune. If you want to keep your IPL stock, but want a noticeable change in the low-end and mid-range, consider swapping in some short rear gears. It will cost you a few grand in parts & labor, but man it is so worth it.

Otherwise, the IPL is a unique and special car. If it's in good shape, you might want to just leave it alone and enjoy the car as is.

I just recently updated my RWD Sport model with a tune from Eugene (EAC) so I will let you know my thoughts. I am running the IPL exhaust (off a Nismo Z) with 2.5" custom tubing/mufflers after the resonators, so I am close to your setup.

Since the IPL already runs the Nismo tune to hit the 350chp mark, I'd be hesitant to mess with it personally.
