Dual exhaust to single.

I've seen A bunch of these cars taking the true dual exhaust and making it a single. Sounds nice but what's the point? Is it cheaper than buying a whole exhuast setup? How do you even go about doing it?

Well I don't think it really affects the performance cuz we have a Y pipe - You can always run straight pipes from the headers all the way . Would sound mean but you might lose some back pressure.
