I had ~$3K worth of parts on my bike. When I sold it, stripped it down best I could. Got ~$2K back on those parts. Fair price on the bike. Incidentally, the combined price of parts + bike was more than my asking price originally with all the parts installed. Took about a month to unload everything.
Agree with Jsolo.
Im having a hard time selling my car with mods, actually justifying the price of the car WITH mods.
I just sold my FI exhaust, and took a small hit, I would have gotten half of that value with it on the car.
More parts to shed soon.
Luckily, I have all my stock parts.

Just post a WTT ad on the classifieds. Your aftermarket parts for the stock version you need plus cash on top. Just remember to be reasonable with the asking prices. A general rule I've been taught and try to live by is if you've ourchased quality parts you can usually expect to get back 80% of your investment assuming you've taken great care of the parts. Most of the part outs go fairly quickly when the parts are priced correctly. Good luck.
