NRG also makes a kit that fits our cars if you don't feel like doing it yourself. I'm looking at the kit as I type this. Got mine in blue since everything else I have on my car is blue, I figured I'd match the theme. found it on amazon for like $40 i wanna say, maybe even cheaper than that.

I have a few questions.. If I'm using 4 gauge wire, what size connectors will I need when I have 2 wires coming together? 0 gauge? Most of the DIY's are for either 8 gauge, or just don't say.

Does anyone have an actual shopping list of what is needed if going the 4 gauge route? and can I get it from 1 place? it feels like i'm pulling stuff from 3 different sites and I'd like to consolidate it all.

Is this wire satisfactory?
Amazon.com : Divini 4 Gauge Awg Amplifier Power/Ground Cable Wire : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Divini 4 Gauge Awg Amplifier Power/Ground Cable Wire : Car Electronics
or should I find something else?

wire sheathing from wirecare.com https://www.wirecare.com/product.asp?pn=WC00238911

most everything else i can find on amazon.. connectors and such.. thanx

Yes, if you're joining two 4AWG wires a 0AWG connector will work.

On the wire, I'd pass, but only since there's very little construction information on the wire and it's less than $1 a foot but is stating that it's true 4 gauge. I won't go into a spiel on wire, but there's a ton of crap out there. My suggestion is to hit up a few mobile audio forums and see what those people are using for power wire, because you need good quality wire to safely run amplifiers, because if you don't, very bad things happen.

If you are looking for suggestions, check out KnuKnoceptz, and you want oxygen free stranded copper wire. I used their Kolossus Fleks wire in my last few audio builds and it's good quality stuff that is priced decently.

The TechFlex looks fine though I would probably use 3/8ths for 4AWG.

I actally started off doing the DIY Grounding Kit from the DIY section, but wound up doing my own version of the Black Betty kit instead.

I have a shopping list and wire lengths in this post from the G37 Cheap Mods page.
