Has anyone had problems with their Factory shocks after Instaling the Eibach Pro kit?

The wheel gap is really started to get to me and I'm not trying to drop over 1k on coilovers, If I can just throw on some springs.

I've looked around and found tons of threads on the Prokit, but nothing about how the Factory shocks hold up after the Eibachs are put on.

You will be changing the stroke length available on the OEM shocks by switching to lowering springs. It will reduce the life of your shocks for sure, but unless your shocks were already compromised, they'll be fine for a while.

If they decide to go, then you can replace with a relatively inexpensive tokico or koni yellow.

OEM shocks/struts are made by Tokico which is a quality product and the most lowering springs such as Eibach are designed to work with the factory shock/strut specs.

I have been lowered on Eibach ProKit for about 15-20k miles and everything is great. Better handling, comfortable ride, and an excellent appearance with an even drop.

I wouldn't wait for Swift personally because they seem to have an issue getting cars lowered evenly, which is my preference. They have great products though and I'm sure you'll be happy whichever way you go. That's just my opinion and experience.

Getting an insight from someone who Drives a X model really helps with making up my mind. Glad to hear everything is working out for you.

Are you on aftermarket wheels or Factory? I'm going to keep my stock 19", powdercoat them and probably throw on 20MM spacers all around.

Do you have any Pictures of your car before and after the drop?

Have you had any issues with the tires rubbing at all?

I started lowered on the factory wheels and tires (18x8 +43) and did not have any rubbing. I quickly added 20mm spacers to the front, and 25mm spacers to the rear resulting in the front size of 18x8 +23 and a rear size of 18x8 +18 and also did not have any rubbing. I recently installed Forgestar CF10 wheels in the following sizes with 255/35R20 tires all around: Front- 20x9 +28 Rear 20x10.5 +35 I do not have any rubbing with this setup either.

All setups had in specification camber. Front and rear SPC camber kits are installed.
