High Performance Mass Air Flow Sensor
i recently discovered that jet performance released a mass air flow sensor for our g37 it claims to increase air by 45 percent anybody think this is bull?

Well, that's swell, but if your not trying to push 45% more air through the engine, the extra flow capacity is kind of wasted. I would think this is intended more for forced induction where your pushing more air though the engine than it would normally suck via the pistons and swept volume of the six cylinders. Unless Infiniti under spec'd the sensor, the stock version is all a stock engine needs. So whether its bull or not seems a bit immaterial for most G owners on the road.
Are you sure it isn't capable of METERING up to 45% more air similar to the UpRev sensors?
UpRev MAF GT

Unfortunately that’s not how it works, together they’ll get you “possibly “ 45% more air you don’t add them up , I have purchased them no idea yet if they’re worth it , haven’t installed yet, works best with a tube from my understanding

I agree with your assessment that a higher capacity MAF assumes that one can get more air into the engine and does not replace larger intakes and FI, which are the preferred vehicles for increased intake. Of course a tune would be needed to leverage the added capacity.
