Outside Air Temp Sensor

So I went to replace my air filter today and noticed why my outside air temps were 115+ all the time. Where do I clip this back into?

Nevermind figured it out. Clip broke that snaps to the bumper.

Since the thread is already started, how high will our temp sensor report? Acura sensors do not go past 113. I got a reading of 110 in Roemead CA today.

I haven't seen it go past 116. It was 107 or so today in Henderson.

I have seen 115 so far here in the Vegas area. The REAL hot days though I was in AZ and missed seeing the temp on the car. Not sure how high the G goes up but the Jeep I have seen 120 as well as -19...........................

Yeah it goes pretty high but not high enough for Nevada and Arizona.

did you replace the bumper clip or the sensor at the dealer if so how much was it>? My temp read 98 and the actual temp outside was low 70's.

The sensor is supposed to be inside the bumper cover, attached to the bumper itself. Its on the radiator side (back) of the bumper to the left as you face it, and the sensor itself will also point left... it clips vertically into two holes. Mine broke one of the clips and fell against the radiator so it was really off. I zip tied it back on and called it a day.
