Are there MODS that you have to worry about when taking your car in for whatever service and having them mess it up?

 

Until I found my current alignment guy, the other shops didn't know what to do w/ lowered cars, only two shops in my town can work on it the rest have ramps that are too tall or drives that are too steep~And I'm not even that low
I DIY all my other service though.

 

yep, alignments at shops that don't do lowered cars and anything that involves a lift if you have coilovers, I ALWAYS make sure to tell them and watch them when they swing the lift arms under my car (not a g37) because I had a friend have a shop just swing them into his side skirt.

 

Funny you mentioned that... I've just recently been looking at jack/lift assist ramps to combat that problem. They have a shallow incline and raise the car just enough to get the arms underneath.
