Took me about 2 hours. I just took my time with. Removing and replacing the center console took up most of that time.

 

Quick Review: TWM Short Shifter and Big Type R Shift **** in Gunmetal:

After waiting, which feels forever to get this product, I finally installed this bad boy in my car. Before getting the shifter I took everything apart to get ready for the install. The one of the longest part was taking off the old shift **** (took about 30 minutes), which I completely destroyed and is now in the garbage. Taking off the center console was annoying, but not too bad, pretty straight forward. The install itself was to the point, I doubled check everything; made sure everything was connected and in the right place.
I took it for a spin not too long ago, and I couldnt stop smiling. The feel of the car feels a hundred times better. Shifting is smooth, no delay between shifts. This is by far one of the best modification I ever done in my car.
Positive: shorter/smoother/easier shifts; less vibration, The ***** looks great, and the the heavy ***** feels like you have more control and gives it a more sportier feel.
Negative: none: except removing the dang oem shift ****.
Satisfaction: 1000%
Recommendation: Yes. All G37s should come with it.
