Not to mention, you will never get a wheel to clear a set of Akebono brakes that have an additional chunk of aluminum mounted on top of them.

 

That doesnt even look like a caliper, just a bent piece of metal.

Plus you still havent answered my question. How does covering your caliper in a piece of metal help reduce heat?

 

Yeah impossible for it to reduce heat, if anything it'll trap heat easier, causing the brakes to over heat quicker, causing you to crash in case of an emergency.

 

Never said I was putting this on my car, just asking if anyone was interested in helping this company with a prototype. I was tempted at one point but I was brought back into the light.
