^Johnny's got a pretty good list. wheels and drop are essential IMO. then if you want to go looks or performance is your choice

 

The most expensive stuff first.

 

If you have a coupe, Dont get Tanabe exhaust, get something better. HKS, greddy SE, FI etc.

Dont get eibachs, get H&Rs.

I would also throw in full LED swap and spacers if you are staying on stock wheels.
