Installing a Borla Catback System on X Coupe

Hello,

I would like to install a Borla Exhaust system on a g37x coupe. However, this is not easily done on an X coupe because of the transfer case which obstructs the piping along the passenger side. I have read a few posts about this on a few forums and I am not trying to beat a dead horse, but I was wondering how feasible it is for a shop to do this. Would they use a pipe bender and create a piece out of some cruddy metal which would corrode 8 months down the line? Or would they actually do some welding and what not to create a nice stainless steel pipe? A place near me can do it but they basically admitted to the fact it would not be good quality. I am no engineer and this is def not my field of expertise, but if anyone has any knowledge about any of this I would greatly appreciate any input. I am basically trying to found out if this can be done...and done correctly, or if I am wasting my time. Thank you.

You're better off going custom if you ask me, throw some 2.5" piping with custom mufflers and call it a day

You already have the system? If not, I'd consider going with Fast Intentions. Tony has systems that will fit the X.
