Mod friendly delearships?
Does anyone know of Mod friendly dealerships in the New England area?
I just bought a 2010 G37xS sedan. As part of my agreement of purchasing the car, the dealer was supposed to install a few accessories. I ended up not wanting one of them and the other wasn't available so, I asked them if they would install my new Stillen Cat Back and Gen 3 intake.
I was surprised that they weren't sure they could. I know Infiniti is the higher end version of the Nissan, but it basically has the same motor and drivetrain, and Nissan has no problem installing Nismo stuff. In the past, when dealing with aftermarket products, I make sure to choose a dealership that is Mod friendly or a car that has a modification line.
They said if I install them its not a big deal, but if they install them any warranty work might get rejected by Infiniti. I know about the Magnussun Moss act, but not sure why a company with a performance division would be concerned.

I think one reason is b/c Nismo and Nissan have a business relationship -- you can buy Nismo stuff at any Nissan dealership, but you didn't buy your Stillen stuff at the dealership did you?
I totally understand the frustration...I know there are a lot of mod-friendly dealerships in Cali but not sure about New England, PM Triple X, he is from MA
