Ok as you all know I was looking at getting a SC or TT kit this year but I now have less money due to a lawsuit involving my house and the builder. My wife will not let me spent the 10-15k for the kit but she will allow me to spent some money on smaller MODS. Enough of the sappy stuff the questions:

I need a few things for me to be happy with my car for the next year or so and I am now looking at:

1. Getting headlights painted and ironman MOD, but what color schemes?
im thinking White LEDs with Athens blue paint
2. I currently have a Stillen Gen II intake and want to convert to the Gen III cold air. Good idea?
3. Looking for a Front Splitter lip the JP USA. Good Price or better lip out?

last and not least I know I have a cobb but want to know if I should get rid of it and go with the up rev. I plan on a custom tune with either kit? The mods I have for the tune is the Stillens and the MXP catback only. My goal is to just mod it enough to hold me over for the SC or TT kits price to come down alittle bit.

I have read a lot on each item and still cannot make up my mind. Thanks guys.

 

you can always sell your Stillen Gen II's =-- someone will buy them

white LEDs match any color, especially AB

 

good point. the conversion kit for the gen 2 to the gen 3 is $300

 

With the ironman you can do the white LEDs n blue paint. I'm sure black paint and blue LEDs will be good too. Can't go wrong with the ironman mod. I'm not sure what kind of look your going for though

 

Clean look and elegance

 

I'd definitely at least paint inside the headlight to match the car. Ironman in color does look good, so you could match it with blue and it'll look nice. I have an BO and i got white LEDs, its hard to go wrong with that mod.

 

1) white LED and color match for sure
2) I would definitely go for the gen3
3) JP is a great splitter, Autokits front lip/splitter is another good option

 

1) Yeah get those headlights done you won't regret it. Go though 180 Customs gallery they have lots of goodies there

2) Don't even think twice about it, just do it

3) Stillen splitter isn't the best option out there

 

thanks for the feed back. what about the led strip as well and it be painted AB and also the shrouds in AB with White LEDs? leave the rest chrome.
