G37 Mods
If you want to turn the G37 into a rocket, forced induction is the way to go. Unfortunately, it'll take over $10K to do it right and even more if you want to do the inside of the engine.
I had that kind of money in my GSR but I won't do it with this car. I've finished all the mods I'm gonna do except for the grounding kit. When that comes out, I'm done.
As for better things to do with the money? Let's see. I sold the GSR last week (to a kid who couldn't stop grinning) and I'm selling the G35 tomorrow. There's a company in Atlanta that builds old style Mini Coopers with VTEC engines... or maybe a couple of nights with the governor of New York's hooker!
^^escort and not hooker, Kahn! She is an escort. She is a professional. It is like comparing a high school quarterback with a NFL quarterback. Sure they sorta do the same thing but they are not really the same.

yah man. ive been looking up up stillen parts and they look and sound badass, but there is little to no gain as far as hp from their exhaust system and for $1200 that is definitely not worth it. the stillen hi-flow catalytic converters and headers are a different story. the converters by themselves release another 10hp.
And anyone that buys a performance part without reading here deserves to lose there money cause its posted all over the boards about the intakes...
^^I agree with you on the exhaust part but not the intake. I don't think the other intakes make any power but no one has got off their butt and dynoed their car before and after an install so we are just taking the word of people and manufactures IMO. Same goes for the Stillen Headers. No dyno that I am aware of, just people comments about that it makes so much power. Personally I only take the word of a couple people on here just because most people lie on the internet because they usually is no accountablility. But just so you all know, I will be doing before and after dynos when I get my FI exhaust and Injen Intake and posting them for you guys. I just wish more members here would do the same.
Stillen Gen-3 cold air
I haven't dynoed my car, however I will say after I had installed the GEN3 cold air, my car absolutely had a MAJOR difference in performance. I noticed that once I had my cold air intake in, the car pulled a bit harder in the high RPMS. I'm sure Injen would have done the same thing, I just liked Stillen as I had heard alot of good things about them.
A few weeks later, added a cat-back exhaust system (made by Invidia). This system is hands down, the best sounding system I have ever heard. They eliminated the "Y" pipe, and switched it to an X Pipe, followed by true dual exhaust. The X pipe apparently increases performance as equal amounts of exhaust exit the system. Infiniti's stock system sounded great, however WOW - the invidia system sounds so amazing with zero rasp!
I see this post is mad old - but figured id comment on it since i found it on page one of google.
