Alright guys I need your opinions on my situation:

Alright I am trying to get opinions on what others would do about the two cars I am looking at.

the first car I found Is an 04 Ivory pearl sedan with the rare nismo/aero kit, premium package 6mt with black/graphite interior. Completely stock, 94000 miles. Owner is an older gentleman from what he sounded like on the phone. It was in a minor rear end collision back in 2004 with the original owner of the car. this owner has owned it since 08 with 50k. He has never driven it in the winters and there is no rust on the car. Tires are alright and appears to be very very clean inside and out.
Cars for Sale: 2004 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan in DOVER, OH 44622: Sedan Details - 306316998 - AutoTrader.com

Next is a 2003 Ivory pearl NON nismo/aero package car with premium package and 6MT and the willow colored interior. The car comes with stock wheels and snow tires along with 05-06 Sedan sport 18s. The car has a Z tube, and clear corners and appears to be modded a bit but not a lot. This car only has 58k on it which is a positive, but it is an 03 with the weaker synchros and no LSD transmission. This one has rust around the strut towers in the engine compartment, and has been driven in the winter.
2003 g35 sedan 6speed!

So now what lol.

I would get more photos of the 2nd one. MOst of the time people that mod cars w/ those types of mods have studied and are into cars, so most of the time they're taken care of as well.

I wouldn't purchase a car that has been in ANY type of accident....EVER. There's ALWAYs something that goes wrong w/ them

Otherwise I would stay patient and keep lookin

what's your price range Andrew?

HIGHLY RECOMMENDATION: WAYNES AUTOBODY - ask for MARK!

Final word on my front bumper situation.....

Mark received the check today.....$580! Apparently Rudi called Mark wining about the amt of the cost of the quote so Mark took off an hour of labor off the quote....

ANYWAYS, Mark called me today and told me I can stop by tonight and he'll cut me a check for the amount

Check is going towards bills and our trip...holding off on the wife's FX till AFTER our trip!

The way he described the accident makes it sound much worse than it really was. It was just a minor "bump into something" with the rear bumper and it happened in 2004 when the car was new, so if it was going to take a crap, chances are it already would have. If the car was repaired properly (and in this case, a very minor accident) there shouldn't be anything to worry about. The car is spotless (we saw the extra pictures) and the interior looks new. The second car does not look as clean and its an 03 so it doesn't get the LSD and the transmission isn't the updated one.

I am saying just go for the 04. The car is rarer, and cleaner.

Also, checking back on the service records, the dealer repainted the rear bumper. Andrew worded that wrong. It wasn't a collision, but because the dealer did the paint work, it ended up on the carfax.
