At this point this is the only option I have since it's already drilled. I take it you're not going to Rock Falls since I see your name popping up all over the forum.

 

Are all you guys running your cars with no front plates? I'm not interested in getting any fix it tickets so I've got my just zip tied to my grille, do you guys get a lot of trouble from cops around the twin cities?

 

nope. Taking the 70 bucks in entry and gas $$ and purchasing groceries. Linds is going to Indiana for work all next week so I'm feddin' for myself. Just Louie and me for the week.

yep...no front plate. I think it depends a lot on what type of car you drive. I got pulled over w/ my cavalier in the cities a few years ago, but never had a prob w/ the G (knock on wood)

 

I like the bumper plugs because TBH, you can't even tell they are there unless you look closely.




I didn't run it a lot in the cities without a plate, but here in Fargo, they dont give a flying Eff lol. I drive past cops every day and they dont even bat an eye.

 

I just pay attention for cops and then alternate accordingly.. In burnsville cops will follow you and wait for you to make a mistake then pull you over.. they are always looking for something. I was pulling up to a light this week by the house and the cop was 100yrds in front sitting at the light (daytime) and I knew if I rolled up on him he would pull me over so I just slowed down and the light turned green.. On the sedans Im sure you could just play dumb and get a fix it ticket or a warning... but on the coupes that look modified its a different story.

I think it part luck part paying attention.. But if I had a sedan I would NEVER run a plate unless my car was heavily modded..

I saw your pic with it zip tied and thought about it but just kills the look... man I miss FL no front plates and smooth a$$ roads!
