Keep in mind, you def won't lock up as easy with the 275's....but they def are easier to chirp!
Yea I'm thinking of either the Super Sports or Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions. They are still both pretty light, 29 pounds with the PP's but are also quite a bit cheaper. Going to see what my work discount is first

I'm going to fill it up Sat AM and hope it holds out just fine through the cruise. Been driving on it for the past month or so now so I'm assuming this shouldn't affect it. I'm thinking of going with the Super Sports this time around, the tires alone are 5 pounds lighter over my old RE760s! But of course they are a bit more spendy than the RE760s, but I will take the weight savings!

Any thoughts from others? My sizing of 285/30/20 limits it a bit and I'm not sure if I wanna drop to a 275/30/20 since I love how my wheels in the back sit now....but I will have to do some looking.
I went with the Super Sports after about 4.5 hours of research. Basically, what I'v been reading is they are like doing a suspension mod without ever having to touch anything. Consistently ranked at the top of their field.. people say they didn't think they'd notice a difference between these and any other summer tire out there but apparently there is. Grip is incredible...

I'll give you my impressions this weekend after I get them mounted. lol

Yea I'm planning to I wanted to last weekend but my backseat was filled with my backpack and Shannan had an overnight bag in case plus some other stuff.

I called discount tire after checking my dealer pricing and they are going to match them for 293 a tire But the total still came to 669, so I'm going to check and see how much they charge for mounting and balancing to see. I only need 2 but I don't know if that price includes tax, if it does then I'll be happy with that I mean I won't be extatic but it's only 20 bucks more than the Pole Positions or something similar at the top end. I'm happy my Bridgestones lasted as long as they did tho, they made it through 2 summers and almost 20,000 miles. I realize it isn't great but given how much I was ripping on them in my M and was in my G I'll take it. If it wasn't for the puncture I'd hold off until next year....I still might and just let the 18s sit on there for a bit

Sounds good! I'm going to pick them up very soon actually. Yea I don't do too much hard driving anymore, but I do like the feeling of them and for all the trips I do and in town driving it would be nice to have even more grip plus a lighter tire....especially since my 085s are so heavy already

The other thing (that initially brought me to the Michelins) is that they are a very smooth tire with good ride quality and noise levels, especially for a high performance summer tire.

Thats basically what I was looking for haha.

I've also had a set of super sports! I loved them. Conti DWS's arent a bad choice either! they usually run some sort of promotion with those tires. I recieved a free nook with my last purchase. Id scout the net for the best deals.

I'm definitely going with Michelin next year. I love the look of the Falken but I want a quieter tire.
