Any of you St. Cloud guys know of a guy/shop in Waite Park that does powder coating? A guy came in Advance last weekend with a huge jacked up Silverado and he had some big 20+ rims that he had powder coated in white from guy in Waite Park for like $60 a wheel, and it was a very quality job. I would love to get mine done at some point and ditch the Plasti-Dip.

Yeah I know them. I called the for a price quote on my rays and they said $55 per wheel for plain colors (black silver white etc) and $85 for a metallic oem like finish. Never actually had anything done by them though.

New G Owner in MN

Hey,
I recently bought a 2009 G37x sedan, non-sport. I have two hopefully easy questions that I am hoping you can help with. I am a perfectionist and the front bumper cover has a small ding and some scratches underneath. I am thinking of swapping to a sport bumper cover. My question, do you guys have a recommendation for a body shop that does really good work at a reasonable price? I have been quoted $270 (Maaco) to $650 (Crystal Lake Automotive), I supply the OEM cover, off the car.

Second question, can someone recommend a good detailer for the interior? More interested in the best possible job than price. I had a great guy but apparently he retired.

Thanks,
RJ

P.S. I saw a black coupe with carbon front end at Cub in Eagan yesterday. One of you guys??

Myself and Songle6MT have a detailing business. We'd be happy to quote you. Is the interior the only thing you'd like done?

And I am fairly sure Lance (1cleang) has a body guy thats super reasonable and who he always goes to.

BTW, welcome to the forum! Make an intro post in the introduction thread here:

Hope to see you around this summer!

My guy is down in hastings, MN for bodywork. Call Wayne's Autobody at 651-437-7888 and ask for Mark. He's great. My car is literally in his paint booth right now getting my trunk done.

Its not necessarily the "cheapest" prices, but its definitely one of the highest quality for the price you pay. I had him do all my bodywork on my '06 35 coupe, as well as my 37s coupe now. Couldn't be happier, and will continue to drive a bit out of the way for quality work.

Hey guys - so I've got an '07 G35x. I'm not really in the market for an exhaust at the moment, but I'm always looking I guess.

My question, is the 07-08 G the same thing as the newer G37? Or do I need to scan the sale threads over at G35D? Getting an intake from Janik just before CnC, but I'm also interested in exhaust and wheels. Unsure of what I want to do with suspension at this time.

Everything on the G37 sedans fits our cars. Depends what you want for exhaust and stuff. Maybe I'll sell you the Invidia if I find a Fast Intentions for sale somewhere. What exactly are you looking for??

No idea, just looking I guess. I know for wheels, I fell in love with some Axis, but this is a different car. Gotta start looking again. lol

As far as exhaust, I need stainless since my car is a winter driver. That's really the only stipulation at this point. Not sure about lowering a car in MN. I did the whole summer/winter vehicles, and at this point I'm just looking for one that I can drive year round. Not sure if EDFC can stand up to the salt?

Well, this is Taylor's 07X which is dropped on an Eibach Pro Kit, fairly mild. This is the same kit I am doing as well (and you know me, my car is out in rain, snow, salt and shine)

A lot of the exhausts are stainless now, so it really just depends on your budget. Fast Intentions is probably the best sounding. This is what I'd like to get eventually.

Wheels, really that is up to you. Just don't go smaller than a 19 haha.

For reference, this is a 07X on 19s with an Eibach Pro Kit (also observe he has an OEM front lip. Nice subtle mod)

Or you can go 20s like the rest of us lol

^Thats on an Eibach Kit as well.

Really, the skies the limit lol. You could also just get OEM G37 19s.
