Tint 50% or......

I am planning to get my windows tinted soon. Question for you guys, legal tint in Minnesota is 50%, pretty light. I am seeing a lot of cars running darker tint. Do you guys with the darker tint get hassled, pulled over?? I know I can get a prescription but that doesn't stop me from getting pulled over. I am not looking to go real dark but 35% would be nice. Also I am considering Bravo Protection Products for the install......anyone use them??

Thanks,
The Rookie - RJ

Ive only gotten pulled over with my 25/26% window tint all around except the windshield once, that was like a month ago and I haven't gotten pulled over yet. I had a cop trail me for a good 10 minutes on 42 and he didn't do anything lol.

I just showed him my note and never gave me a ticket.

As for tint installation I went with Tint Pros up in New Brighton. ($180 for the Coupes)

As Hotsauce said, I also have used Tint pros NUMEROUS times as Tien is a great guy and a perfectionist with his work. They have a facebook too. Tint Pros Mobile.

As for %. I got hasseled a BUNCH for my 35% but i havent even been looked at in awhile and Im going to get a tint prescription so I'm not really concerned. I want darker windows so I am planning on having them redone especially before our big trip to FL.

What Janik said. And I also drive mine in all types of weather. It's my only vehicle and I put on a hair over 21,000 miles on it last year. Love the drop on Eibach springs. No major issues in the snow either, went through a foot plus last January.

I've always gone with 30% on all my vehicle and only got pulled once. No ticket. You should be fine.

So I am trying to buy a cold air intake. Still deciding if I should get the Z-tube + JWT or the Z-tube + Stillen.

I am leaning towards the stillen intake since I found this nice used one.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

What would you guys prefer? Stillen or JWT?

Should I bid on the used one on ebay?

Buy it used then just recharge the filter?
