That red G is even more of reason for me to have registered my car in the wild section instead of the top one eventhough I have over 20 mods lol

Check dis shiiiiiiz out Lance... I guess I may be needing to buy a trunk from Autokits after all

"Hey Members,

I just wanted to fill you guys in on somethings that have been going on. Now I don't own a G, but please know that I've been developing body kits/ manufacturing body kits for the G, ever since it was released. I work for ITZ and just wanted to let you guys know that Strafe Automotive owes us quite a bit of money. We are essentially the manufacturers for them, and they decided to not paid their bill one day. So we had to take them to court and we finally settled on a payment system of $167 a Month. All I ask if to make sure when you do purchase kits from them, make sure you do not pre-pay, but pay the day you get your products, and if you require shipping. I hope all goes well. I just don't want anyone to get all the hassles and fees of a lawyer that we had to deal with. Thanks for your time, and read. "

I have Titanium colored Muteki open ended 48mm lugs...got them on ebay $42 shipped...cheaper than any quote from various vendors I contacted.

I've read some threads regarding Strafe too and would probably steer clear. Look at getting it through BAUSauto. Eric from there messaged me that the VIS K2 trunk is just like the Hikkata one I've been looking at (They don't have the revised better fitment Hikkata mold done yet). Keep in mind I think it is a slight difference in design (although better IMO) than the Strafe one. Eric quoted me 325 for FG with shipping between 100+150.

Here's the link to the Hikkata (I couldn't find any pics for the VIS K2?)

Good thing you found out before paying up. Could've been a major headache

I love the Hikkatadori trunk for the 35coupe. Was hoping they would make something similar for the 37 coupe but so far it seems only Autokit has come close to a similar design.

MAN...seriously, I don't even know what to say anymore. I'm going to stay out of annnnnny recommendations anymore for you locals. I'll just tell you to do your research before you order sh8t.

Peng...just so you know, BAUS just send all of their molds to AUTOKITS because they're molds are so f*cking horrible and their fitment was so ****ty, everyone wanted refunds, so they're PAYING ANOTHER VENDOR to do their f*cking work for them and clean up their f*ck ups.

I'm no hater, but you guys gotttttttttttttttttta get your info/research straight

There is so much bad stuff out there for fitment between all those trunks. The Hikkatadori has some harsh reviews with fitment but the quality is top notch. U tell me if that makes any sense... But the 'strafe' trunk had good words about it until that message I found today. And u don't know what mold u are getting when u order since it seems everyone f'd up their first molds. Body work is an effin headache. I will be goin through autokits just cuz we have a connection if anything gets messed up

I thought you said Autokits doesn't carry or make the FG anymore though (for the 35)? I'm really not looking to pay 200 dollars more for a CF trunk that I'm gonna end up entirely painting over...

And if they're now replicating the molds off of the Autokits design/mold, it should be the same anyways, no?

I hear you. In my opinion though, I'm just expecting that anything 3rd party is gonna need some fitment work...it's just a question of how much. to be honest with you, I'm actually even considering just sourcing a trunk and creating that lip effect myself...At least then I'll know the trunk will latch and fit right.
