Dan, we should have a financial discussion some time lol. You have the right idea here..
In the basics all it is is picking a name and investing in it. If you want to make a "knowledgeable" decision then yes, there are ratios, trends, etc. If I took the time to look into a few companies stocks for the last couple years I could figure a lot of things out. I am fairly good with numbers and graphs.

All I really want to do is look into them quick and make a couple decisions and gamble and see if it works.

I stick with companies that have been around and have a bright outlook. I also try to diversify myself so I'm not 100% invested in one market like tech. Got some oil, auto, tech, consumer goods and energy stocks.
I learned a lot in my finance class where we got $1 mill to invest, and by the end of the semester I turned it into over $5 mill off stock options. Something VERY risky, but the payouts are crazy. U can also lose it all in a day ha
My car is paid for and I have a couple years before I have to worry about buying a house or student loans so now would probably be the best time. Comfortably I have about 1500 to lay into the stock market without being incredibly hurt if I lost it all. I would be pissed I lost 1500 bucks but I wouldn't be financially broken. I 100% agree with spreading between a few different companies so your aren't totally invested in one thing. I think we need to have this financial discussion Janik is talking about lol. Where do you do your trading Dan?

Lower buy in prices with a little more risk is kind of what I am looking for in a way. However, those companies would be very "safe" investments.

Agree, stay away from that black one if that is the one you are looking at. Just wait until you get back unless you find a killer deal.

I'll just have to go across base and use the calling center... I just hope this dealer is as easy to work with as the one with the blue G. super fast responses and very helpful.

Yea I use Jack3d and it's by far the best pre workout I have used compared to Superpump or No-xplode. I used to use creatine when I played football, and stopped after a teammate went to the hospital for his Kidneys.
Now I just use pre workout and Whey protein

I might have to check out Jack3d. I was using MRI's pre workout and post workout and just switched to muscletech's nano vapor pre workout and anabolic halo post workout. I felt so jacked up tonight. It was great. and taking different protein twice a day. I have only been working out everyday for the past month and a half (before that was only like twice a week). every other day I go twice. I was a scrawny 130 lbs when I first got here, and now am 136 with a lot more muscle. hoping to be closer to 140 soon.

I always made fun of my old roommates for taking supplements, but now I realize how much they can help

^^ yea man I feel ya, I've always had trouble gaining mass. it just takes a strict diet and workout routine. I went on a weight gaining diet last January and gained 15 lbs in a month eating 5 meals a day. It is hard as hell maintaing the weight tho. But I've tried putting on some more mass this winter and I just got 205 lb on bench 10 times this week so it's paying off

In basic training, I gained 15 pounds. but it wasn't all good weight. I had a little bit of muscle mass, but a lot of it was fat. when I got home I was lazy and didn't work out at all. and lost all the 15 pounds back to 130. almost every time I gain a few pounds I lose it shortly after. this is the first time I can keep the weight.
