If the Motordyne ART pipes weren't so expensive ($660) I'd seriously push these up on my "to have" list. No rasp and gives it a nice throaty sound-even on a stock exhaust!

^^^The ART pipes are actually $585-. but yeah, my choice was between MD ART pipes, FI resonated TPs, or FI Resonated HFCs. Decided against ART pipes because of the dreaded hissing sound that so many complain about, and away from TPs because unwanted drone.

My resonated HFCs are $620-.

 

I have the price down to 14,900 for the G. Its hard to drop it much more when the only thing thats bad is that it has 90,000 miles. the rest is flawless. I just have to talk to my POA a little bit about it. I am about 90% sure I am going to get it

then I won't have to be THAT guy without a G

w/ a 10" wheel in front and an 11" wheel in the rear, that setup would be HE??A agressive even on a 1st gen. For not much more then that price, you could order your own WORK wheels and your own custom offsets to perfectly fit your car.

 

Exactly!! That's why I've been eating PBJ at work for the last 4 months! But it helped me save up for a Rear Diffuser :-D

 

Under 12k? What makes you say that? I sold my old 05 G35 for more than that last year. I would have kept that car if i couldn't afford a new one.

It isn't that I am broke, it is just that I am in the process of paying down the car (im under 9k left now) and while doing that it is hard to mod the thing without just sticking everything on a credit card (I pay for all the mods with cash). I am just impatient and and want to mod now.
I wanted the ART pipes to but at this time, I just cant swing that! I was looking up used HFCs last night and DAYUM they aren't as cheap for the second gens as they are for the first gens. The cheapest ones I found were still over twice as much as what Andrew paid for his HFCs.

At this point, I am ok with just the catback. I want to focus on getting my wheels and a trunk spoiler before Miami.

The high today is -3! I have to go to work at 3. We will see how the G reacts to turning over after a night of sitting out when its -25.

Atleast it isn't like my 05 though! That car shook when it was cold and would die LOL.
