for those that have their g's stored away, you're LUCKY! hate putting my car through this weather =/ i hear the groans every time i start my car up after work...=(

Oh I def dont' take it for granted. I remember starting my 06 outside my apt when it was like 5 degrees out and it would just growwwn

So I went and got a buffing disc attachment for my die grinder and test polished the area that I sanded down the other day and thought I'd share at least what I'm attempting to do. Final results will be MUCH better (Closer to mirror polish) because I only did steps of 240, 800, 1000, and 1200 grit so far cause I'm waiting on my higher grit paper in the mail. I also noticed that although I got past the clear and laminated layer, I should probably get deeper to get it to be completely flat. Anyways here's some progress test pics :
