I bet the ride on that thing is SO rough! And I really do not like the like of the set-up. The tires are way too small for the wheel. Just yuck IMO.

^^ I think everyone's first mod is the PlastiDip - stuff is da shiiiiiiiit!! I say its a go for the charcoal wheels, I was going to that for mine if I didn't get the CV3's .

My headlights will be shipped to OnEighty tomorrow morning, bubble wrapped the **** out of them! And Trev my bad for pulling the trigger but I may be off to Richmond, VA next Monday so I had to get going on this cuz if that goes through you dudes will not be seeing me until after April 15th. My winter is goin to be flying by if that is the case

I think charcoal/gunmetal will look good considering the color of your car. But like you said Plastidip over the winter will definitely get you started on the modding path

Your G is red if I recall properly so you should be no chance you two will look alike unless you're planning a color scheme change over the winter

Plastidip is pretty cool but also very easy to abuse. Some people have taken too far but don't get Lance started on this topic

And Mike, how do you like your Q300?? That is the most cost effective catback I can get for the money, but in these vids they sound so damn raspy!

That's cuz those are the first Gen invidia. I love mine n even with my hfc I get zero Rasp as u probably know. If not I can attest to the quality of them, very quiet inside n a good tone outside....but a bit quieter than I would like.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If I could afford wheels I would get some but I won't be able to for a while...

I'm thinking this also, should give it a nice contrast hopefully.

The only places plastidip will ever touch this car is maybe the grill and wheels.

Anyways, my custom plates will be 6SPEEDG

This is a great example of how our independent suspension works, and allows your tire/wheel to tilt in to miss your fender. The suspension still has travel, I dont' think it would be THAT harsh of a ride. I def would not run those tires around here w/ no protection on the lips of the wheels, but I think the stance its $$$$. Whoever that is studied to the point where the lips of the wheels JUUUUUUSt miss the actual fender.

They didn't make a mid or y pipe for my car. Already went through that with Kris for about a month trying to track one down. Would have had to custom make it, and I don't wanna spend 100+ to have it potentially sound like crap. I'd rather just spend the extra and get something that I KNOW will sound good. I hate cheeping out on car things. I bought the Tanabe because it had good ratings and people liked it. I do like it (even though Andrew makes fun of it for being quiet...) but I'd just like something similar to the tone I had on my 05. I miss that.

Whatever. I am nearly getting my money back out of it so I'll just keep my eyes peeled for a used catback for like $700 and call her a day. These cars just don't react to exhausts quite like the first gens did... I just had a axleback on my 05 and it was more than loud enough. I put 2 axlebacks on my 08 and its quiet as hell... go figure.

I'm just giving you a hard time. That is what we do. The tanabe's do sound pretty good from outside of the car. To me they just need to be a little louder.

As for getting something made. I'm just going to say that you wouldn't know how something sounds if someone didn't try it first. Why don't you want to be the person that try's it out. I do however understand that you want to know that it sounds good and respect that.

Do what you need to do!

Is your exhaust the same as an 03-07? right?
