I know this is late notice, but every Friday a bunch of cars meet at Steak 'n Shake in Tinley Park, IL, right off Harlem Avenue. There is a good mix of cars usually - everything from imports, muscle cars, even some more exotic cars show up on occasion. If you are familiar with the area, this is a meet that used to occur in the neighboring parking lot (K-Mart), but due to management, it was forced to be moved.

A lot of people here are looking for places to get together and look at some cars and show off - so here is the opportunity!

I wouldn't mind seeing a G37 presence at the event - I will be there from about 6 - 9PM tonight (7/18).

Good to know Ryne. So do they still do the thurs meets at Besy Buy in orland? I live in Tinley so either works for me. Fridays are better though. I leave for vacation this friday so cant make this one, but will be there when I come back

 

I believe the Best Buy meets were shut down due to littering, excessive display, and refusing to leave when ordered by the police.

There is a car show in Downtown Frankfort on Thursdays. Each week has a theme, but usually a variety of cars come regardless. I've seen 370's and GTR's at both, along with many other very nice rides.

 

It's looking like Friday will be a nice day again! Will I see any G's this week?

I'm interested. I went last week and the gathering is growing. There was a very good showing of mixed cars last week, no G's though.

 

Ryne, you going to the Paul walker meet on sat? btw, not sure if your interested but we kinda made a G group. it's mostly 35s but I could use another 37 in the crew. guys are pretty cool. I blew a strut from my d2 coils and they helped me fix it. saved me a few hundred for sure. lol
