They call MR. Resonator LOL. I hold a record in g37/Z/FX community for the largest count of resonators used in the exhaust
Next step will be catalytic converted y pipe

It doesn’t get talked about much here but check out the magnaflow exhaust if you want something more subtle. It looks like a replica of the IPL exhaust.

Thank you, I looked it up and noticed something interesting. They have a 2.25" exhaust for $1,586 and a 2.5" exhaust for $1,213

Over $300 more for the smaller diameter exhaust? That's the only difference I can see.

In the link you posted the 2.25” is for the sedan and the 2.5” is coupe. Look at the mufflers.

I honestly don't get the hype of FI exhausts. First off, they use vibrant resonators and magnaflow mufflers. Nothing unique or special here. Coupled with the lead time, which makes no sense for off of the shelf products.

I had a shop use the same setup, It was done the same day and I was only out $500

You are overpaying for simply a name, I don't understand

You're also paying for Stainless which most of these exhaust are.
When you come from another platform, one that doesn't care so much about the looks of the piping, etc. you'll realize just like oil, you are paying for the container(Looks)

If you have the time and the means you can buy some mandrels, resonators of your liking and mufflers and take them to an exhaust shop. Possibly $6-800 and you'll have what you want.

Plenty of options as far as exhaust go if you go custom.

FI was sourcing all their components from Sebring Tuning. At least, they used to. Don't they anymore?

Well, opinions are relative, and subjective. I'm of a mind that FI parts are priced right for the kind of quality and fitment they provide. Same for GT Haus, which is on a different level. Similarly, your $500 exhaust might be worth exactly what you paid. The important thing is that it's worth it to you, and vise versa.
