High Pitched Squeal after turning car off
High Pitched Squeal after turning car off
I did try to search this and didn't find anything definitive. I've had my Takeda long tube intakes installed for about 2,000 miles now, and I noticed that when I turn off my car after driving, I hear a really loud and high pitched squealing noise coming from the engine bay. Is this just normal throttle body noise? I do hear the throttle bodies click closed when I turn the car off, and the squealing noise only seems to last about 5 seconds before it stops. It does this every time. Are the intakes just amplifying the sound of the electronic TB's as they're doing their closed position learn when you turn off the car? Just wanting to make sure this is normal before I go chasing down things.
It's worth mentioning I don't hear this noise when the car is running.

Sorry for the little one in the background, but you can hear the noise right when I turn off the car. As I said, this happens after belt's and all have stopped moving, so I do know it isn't the belt or a pulley.

I'm going to assume this is just the throttle bodies being amplified through the long tube intakes. As soon as the throttle plates "click" closed when the car turns off, the high pitched noise stops. I assume this is normal noise, unless anyone can say otherwise? I haven't been around another G with long tube intakes to see if it's just my car or if all G's do this.
