Help 2012 G37X Sedan Topgunz S/C
they have an awd and rwd model so it’ll fit fine.
I’ve been wanting to go FI for awhile now, I’m just trying to get all the supporting mods on before I think too much about it. However, I have been looking at the Stillen Supercharger the whole time. Today, I found that topgunz sells a SC kit including stillen’s but it has an air to air intercooler versus stillen’s air to water. Is the topgunz kit more reliable? And what all should I upgrade to safely boost my G?? I’ve read some people recommend fully bulletproofing their tranny to levelten and others just recommend bulletproofing their torque converter and another part in the trans I can’t remember the name... any help appreciated and if this is posted in the wrong place can a mod please move it? Still new to these forums and trying to learn the ins and outs. Thank you all in advance I’ve learned a lot from this site.
I'm waiting for the ACE kit for my AWD coupe.
I wouldn't throw all of your money at your car all at once trying to do everything at once. I'd leave the 7AT alone initially and focus on getting the SC kit working exactly the way you want. There has been mixed experiences with rebuilt 7AT's. My plan is to just run an ACE SC kit tuned to 91 which should be around 380-400whp, at these power levels the 7AT typically lasts a long time. Also, make sure your tuner sets the trans pressure just right. Stock, line pressure is a bit low for increased HP, and if a tuner gets too aggressive with line pressure that can cause problems also. For me, if I blew a trans every so often I might just r/r it with a junkyard trans if they are cheap enough.
BTW, I would suggest becoming a member of the370.com they have the best overall info there, here the S/C info is fairly incomplete.

Here's exactly what he told me in an email:
"We have recently released our ACE supercharger kit. It is a major upgrade in the supercharger world. Read page one of the attached link... Announcing TopgunZ ACE Supercharger Kit! - Nissan 370Z Forum
I am working on getting some of these 370Z kits out then we will move onto the Sedan for fitment. We have a sedan sitting in the shop already so it should be ready in spring."

Horsepower is not the thing to be worried about so much as the torque. That's the biggest limiting factor. Most A2A setups I've seen are tuned to keep it around 400wtq for autos.
