Snapped hose/piece attached to air intakes

Okay, so this afternoon I decided to change the spark plugs and noticed and issue as soon as I started to remove the air intakes.

I currently have K&N intakes installed on the car and the piece that broke appears to be attached to the intakes. I installed them about a year ago and I don’t remember anymore what is stock and what came with the intakes.

Can anyone tell me what this belongs to? If it’s stock, is there a part number or anything so I can get this replaced ASAP? I can’t imagine leaving it like that can be good.

It's part of the pcv breather system.

Looks like you can't just buy the one part. Maybe you'll have luck at a junkyard or ebay?

Here's one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/08-13-Infin...ty!01821!US!-1

Did you have to get a certain size? I’ll probably stop by there tomorrow and see if they have anything for it.

I took the broken piece with me to get a match on the connector diameter.

Oh man, this PoS, it broke on me and the things I tried to fix it...

Long story short, pull out the broken piece of the hose, get cigarette lighter, since this is plastic, it melts like one. Warm it up one side well, then get the broken piece very hot so it starts melting and join them together.
Let it cool off for 5 min and you're all done. Its been 6 months for me and it hasn't broken off yet.

looks like a perfect job for gorilla epoxy. it's plastic, so i'd superglue it first, then use gorilla epoxy to reinforce it. should be done in a couple of hours, no biggie.

How can I source this part.

Hey guys saw this thread thanks for all the info, went to autozone they don't have it. Anyone have a way to fix this thing easy? Or a link to buy that plastic piece that broke?

Looks like you have aftermarket intakes so you could order a set of silicone breather hoses from Z1 Motor Sports that go from the valve cover to the intake. Another option is to get on eBay and look for either the individual piece or (as i had to do) order an OEM intake tube with the piece still attached - if you do this, make sure to message the seller to confirm they will include the plastic part you need.
