Z1 Motorsports vs Tomei V2 headers
The DE engine is still (or until more recently) used in other Nissans as well
The DE is a V6 with a similar displacement/architecture as the G37...some parts may be adaptable

Yes as explained above, when we mention DE it refers to parts which fit onto a g35 or 350z. So basically it has been confirmed we can run 350z/g35 DE test pipes with the VHR (g37/370z) y pipe.
You're the first I've seen to use the suffixes that way on this board. I have no experience VQ35 so it was lost on me. Now, I'm all over DE and VE and DET in relation to the SR20.
They are referenced that way all the time on the facebook groups, most likely because they are mainly VQ groups.
What's going on guys. I am in the market for shorty headers(Can't pass emission with Lth so please don't suggest). After numerous hours of researching, I have come to the conclusion that Z1 and Tomei V2 are the best available options for shorty headers other than your typical generic Stillen/DC/Ebay brands. With that said, which header is actually better? The Z1 has 1.75in primaries while the Tomei has 1.68in, they are both out of SS304, and they are both in the same price point $~900. IF you have one, or the other, or both installed, please comment below.
Looking at the OP's profile to left of his post, one can see he's from Northern Virginia. I wasn't aware that Virginia or D.C had such Draconian emissions requirements. I thought that was limited to Kalifornia and the Northeast.
I appreciate it. That aspect doesnt show up when looking on my phone. At least not how it's currently being viewed.
