Best bang for your buck catback system

Been reading everyone’s posts on different exhaust and stuff and so far ark so the best but idk if I can justify 1600 bucks on a system I am currently running high flow cats and upgraded y pipe looking to get the best bang for my buck. Anyone want to give me their opinion

I think the best bang for your bucket is any used catback, as they are usually less than $1000. When it comes to buying used parts, I find a CBE is one of those things which is acceptable. Just make sure they aren't scratched super bad / leaking, but I think a used one is your best bet.

For example, I sold my used ARK Grip CBE for $850 and it was in 9/10 condition. Thats half MSRP. But then again, I paid $1800 for my Motordyne Exhaust after I sold my ARK. If you were going to shell out $1600 though for an exhaust, I feel like you should spend the extra $200 on the Motordyne as the Motordyne will have a higher resale value (personal opinion) versus the ARK. Also, it is more desired in the community as a better / higher quality exhaust compared to ARK.

If you're already running HFCs and an aftermarket y-pipe then the most advantageous purchase would be a system that utilizes what you've already spent cash on....Top Speed Y-back exhaust.

+1 for going used. I got a used MXP cat back from someone parting out on here for $500. I was a little hesitant as it's not a very popular choice but I have been very happy with it.

An Invidia or Tanabe setup are on the cheaper side.

I ended up getting the OBX catback that was an Arc copy. So far so good. I don't have the real deal to compare to, but this one sounds great to me. And for about $600 brand new, I couldn't pass it up. I have a couple rev clips on this site somewhere, but here is the install thread.
