Electronic Cut out exhuast

I am fairly new to this website I have not posted my car or made any post I am waiting to finish some stuff on it so it looks somewhat complete, my friend asked me if he could put electronic cutout exhaust on my car and I am iffy about doing it as I was going to do a full cat back system but I listened and looked and some and the electronic cut outs sound very nice, has anyone done this or has any input on this subject
