Need advice

Hey everyone need some help, got a 2013 g37x sedan with tanabe axleback, now I want to either swap the the resonator with vibrant or get the Megan y pipe. Which one would give me a deeper tone, I hate rasp n hear the tanabe with vibrant but wanted to know about the y pipe, also if I get the vibrant res should I also match the mid-pipe to the vibrant res. Thanks in advance to everyone on this, this forum rocks.

ice seen that vid but the g37s has different diameter piping compared to the sedan from factory so I don' think it would sound exactly like the G from the video.

Don't go w/ the Y-pipe unless you plan to match the larger piping diameters w/ reducing cones, this mismatch will result in that rasp that you dread, and the Y has the smallest change in exhaust volume. I'd consider RHFCs for what you're wanting or RTPs.

what if I went with the smaller vibrant resonator n match the mid-pipe to the resonator, or if I go with the resonator should I leave the mid-pipe stock??

Every time I hear these comparison videos I think stock setup sounds 10x better. That was the worst part of exhaust shopping for me. Makes me sad I don't have that stock tone. That hollow metallic resonating growl sounds so good.

Have you looked into x pipes? I heard the magnaflow resonated x pipe 11386 took out the rasp and made it deep

don' forget the coupe n sedan have diffrent piping so it won' sound exactly the same, believe the coupe has smaller resonators n larger diameter pipes to being with
