Muffler Delete Questions

Quick and Simple, I have a 2009 G37 Sedan and want to do a muffler delete.

Anyone have the same car already muffler deleted? I'm afraid it is gonna have drone and rattle, so If I take the mufflers off myself (this would be before having pipes and tips welded on) how accurate would the sound be to a fully complete muffler delete?

What kind of pipe and what size of pipe should I use? (For Size I've heard 2.25 and 2.5 what would be the difference?) What about tips? Use the stocks ones or no?

Can Anyone Clarify if the end result would sound like these videos? I've heard that the sound is way louder and nastier in person, and I want my car to be a little louder but not annoying or obnoxious (other than on a cold start MAYBE)

Had the delete before my current exhaust and what you hear in the videos is basically exactly what you should expect. I rather enjoyed it. Drone is unbearable IF you leave the car in "D" or "DS". The car wants to get into the highest gear possible in order to conserve fuel and when those RPMS drop it resonates through the cabin. Keeping the car one gear lower than it wants to be in (5 instead of 6, 4 instead of 5) will keep the drone down x10.

I have a newer sedan (2012) and have the delete. I like it a lot. For me, it only drones at 80 MPH (3k RPM), and even then, it is really not that bad. Oh, I also have a 6MT.

What about the piping and tips? What kind should I ask for them to weld? Is there any major differeces in sound from using one kind of pipe over another?

And if I were to take the muffler off completely and drive around, how accurate would that sound be compared to a finished muffler delete?
