Muffler/Resonator Delete

Only my second post on the forums and I’m in need of some advice. I own a 2010 G37x Coupe and have decided to go on to my second “mod”. Currently the only mod I’ve done on the car is upgrading the cold air intake to the stillen 3rd gen ultra longs. Love it so far. Now I am looking into either doing a resonator deete or a muffler delete. I don’t plan on deleting both as I’ve read that the sound is too obnoxious. Any tips on which one to actually delete? I’m looking for a deeper sound but not extremely loud where it sounds like ****. Also open to other alternatives. Thanks in advance!

If you're dead set on deleting one of the two, then mufflers will give you the sound. Good call knowing not to delete both res & mufflers as that is insanely loud and you probably wouldn't like it. But if possible I would just save for an exhaust you want/like the sound of, because even just deleting the mufflers can be quite loud for some peoples taste.

Yeah I would recommend just deleting the muffler. I have the muffler deleted and a high flow cat and it sounds really good

Was gonna say, could just pop the cans off and drive around for a day and see if it's for you or not.
