Help deciding on TP/HFC

Hey Guys!

I apologize if this has been asked before, however, I've searched all over the forum and found little to no info. I have the ARk Grip exhaust paired with Z1 HFC. The Z1 cats sound like crap and the flange warped on me so they do not seal properly. I was looking to replace these cats with Fast Intentions resonated Test pipes but it seems like no one has this set up or atleast something similar. I did want the rtp because I wanting a tad bit louder. Does RTP sound good with the ark exhaust or is getting a better pair of high flow cats a better solution ?

Thank you everyone !

Can you post a review of your z1 HFC and pics etc. Folks should know when deciding to purchase products.

With that said let me recommend motordyne art pipes.

Best of both worlds here. No drone like with hfc and all the power of a test pipe. They smooth your exhaust note and make it deeper all while eliminating rasp

this is basically how its going to sound with the FI test pipes, just make sure to get resonated ones. I run FI test pipes with just an axleback and they sound great. Worth the money and quality is superb. Also no CEL light with the FI test pipes.

If you're thinking HFC, just go RTP in my opinion. Maximize gains.

I haven't called them but I did email them a couple of times but never got a reply. I know it's not an excuse but between work and college I don't really have the time to give them a call

It took me about a week to get a reply about another product they offer, pretty typical.

If you message them on facebook, or even Russ Rana, or just call them you will get a response right away. I talk to Russ on facebook all the time.

I'll second the Motordyne ART test pipes. They are lovely and not raspy/too loud
