After searching for an x-pipe for a custom exhaust, I was only able to find this one: GarageLine Nissan VQ37 X - Pipe and Midpipe Combo - Welcome to GarageLine - Sport Compact Performance Parts

It also comes with a midpipe.

My questions are:

1) Does anyone know whether an 8" adapter would be needed, or a 12"?

2) If the above can be done, does anyone have any experience with the combo on the G?

It may look like an x-pipe, but I don't think the exhaust gases crossover in the "X" portion. If they do, the opening must be VERY small and inefficient.

 

Funny you mention this... I was watching some Garageline spacers on ebay and found this same exhaust. Keep in mind this exhaust is for the 370z which is slightly different than the G37 coupe. Apparently the difference is in the mid pipe and the G37 coupe exhaust sticks out about 2" if installed on a 370z.
