Passing Emissions Test with the GTHaus Exhaust?

Hello,

I just purchased my g37 and am looking to do some upgrades. Long story short, will I have a problem passing emissions test in TX with the GTHaus exhaust? I've saved money periodically to buy this exhaust; I am just waiting to pull the trigger on it until I can find out about the emissions question. 3k is a lot of money to spend and not be able to use the product.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

This is the wrong sub-forum for this question. This is for site feedback, suggestions & questions; not questions about your car.

You aren't modifying the stock cats so it will have no effects on the emissions with the GTHaus exhaust. I believe they only make a catback system which can be purchased in pieces.

If you replace the stock cats with HFC or test pipe, you can run into issues.

Yup what he said ^^^^as long as you don't run test pipes you should be fine. Now here in Cali they also do a visual inspection which could lead to problems if you don't know the person performing the visual inspection.
